KLANK - Still Suffering (USA)
Tooth & Nail Records

This album had got me wondering whether this is considered a 'Christian' release.
Klank or Daren Diolosa has some extreme views on Church.
But we're here today not to check out whether he is a Christian or not, but to review his latest release "Still Suffering". This album is of the genre Industrial Metal, I'm not too familiar with Industrial... I listen mostly to Death Metal. But what impresses me is that this album is more Guitar focused Industrial as oppose to Techno focused Industrial.
Techno beats with guitars actually, under the guidance of Klank, sound pretty good.
"Downside" is definately a worthy listen, with the start of 'Don't be afraid' it kicks off with techno beats
and the guitars comes right in.

"Scarified" heavy drums (machine?) and guitars as heavy as lead starts this track off. This track is very heavy, but a word of caution, after listening to this track you will be having neckaches.
One highlight of this whole album is the use of sound effects in the background of many songs.

"Animosity" is another of the gems packed in this album.
Again heavy guitars and techno drum beats (Do I sound like a sucker for these stuff?)

"Disease" starts off very cyber-sounding....vision computerized effects, vocals
and techno effects placed as the backbone for this track.
Of course what I like about Klank is that there are alot of guitars in his album.
After listening to this album I've become more aware of this genre of metal

SCORE: 8/10
